Wednesday, March 21, 2018 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Are you on the autism spectrum?
Do you know someone who is?
Have you considered hiring someone on the autism spectrum?
Let’s discuss challenges and opportunities with John, Steudle, Human Resources Specialist at the Autism Alliance of Michigan (AAOMI, AutismAllianceOfMichigan.org). John will share the mission of the AAOMI, some examples of his work and pose some challenges that attendees can brainstorm in small groups.
A2H2 is hosting monthly meet-ups to grow and inform our community preparing for our annual flagship hackathon June 22-24. This year’s A2H2 weekend will have a special track about transition into independence for people with disabilities, thanks to to a collaboration with the University of Michigan Rehabilitation Engineering Research Center under a grant from the National Institute on Disability, Independent Living, and Rehabilitation Research. This meet-up is one of several meant to inform our community about the challenges so you can co-create better solutions in June! Come join us for drinks and conversation!
This is a FREE event!
